Urban Ecologies

Urban Ecologies 2013 is the first in a series of conferences and publications intended to propel the creation of knowledge by, and foster collaborative connections between, urban ecologies thinkers and practitioners. Urban Ecologies 2013 called for creative activities, realized or speculative, that examined the impact of emerging categories of research and practice that are shaping the future of design in our cities: visualizing information, thinking systems, regenerating cities, building health, and creating community.

The Urban Ecologies 2013 anthology was co-edited with Patricio Davila and Roderick Grant, and the conference was co-chaired with Bruce Hinds.
